Ripped/distressed jeans is 'high fashion' these days so why not create the look for your little one? This is a guide on how I do Fareyhas jeans, you can purchase professional distressed baby jeans and they are worth it (I have a few, link to those shops are at the end) but if you want to save a little money or just NEED some ASAP then here is a guide on how to create the look...
Make sure the 2 cuts that you make are lined together like this, it is your choice if you want a big gap or small...
After you have made the cuts, slightly pull the rips. This will help bring out the first few threads. Now, with a tweezer start on the side with the 2 lines and pull out the vertical threads between the 2 cuts. Like this,
Pull each thread one by one (or 2/3) with the tweezer, it doesn't matter if you feel you've pulled other threads, it will just give a more distressed look
After one side is done, the other side is very simple.
Pull each side of the rips and stretch it out. With the tweezers, very lightly pull the threads that are running horizontally, just a few threads. You can stop here but if you want them even more distressed just make a few more cuts.
Then the last part, put them in the wash/dryer, the more you wash/dry them, the better they look!
Here is an example of some white jeans that I did. These are slightly more distressed, light blue jeans look amazing too!
